It will take some time for me to make your wallpaper as I might be busy. I’m doing this is because I want to have more people to support my dad who is now currently in hospital. Currently he is stable and need more people to support. I will try my best to make the wallpaper as soon as posible. Actually I’m doing this is just for the love of creating wallpapers.

ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS JUST SUPPORT MY ADVERTISEMENTS FROM GOOGLE ADSENSE AND NUFFNANG BY VISITING THE SPONSORED LINKS.

With your support, you are helping me and my mom’s hassle on our transportation. We will be going to the hospital everyday till my dad is recover. Thought my car’s fuel consumption is good, but travelling everyday will be costly. I know by doing this wont cover my transportation fees but at least I know, there are still people out there who are supporting my dad.

My Dad’s Condition

Jan 22, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Dad's Condition, Personal

I’ve been missing from my diary ever since my dad admitted to the hospital. Some may notice that my post were all short and simple. This is because I’ve been updating my diary using my phone. No it’s not WAP or GPRS, It’s SMS. I’ve been using Twitter and Twitter Tools plugin by Alex King to help me update my dad’s latest condition. I can only write 140 letters in a single post.

Now I’m able to write this is because my dad’s condition is now stable, able to move and able to open his eyes a little. I’m a bit relief now and I know my dad, he will never give up. He has never gave up. He tried to open up his eye lids a bit and moved his hands and legs.

It’s now all depending on my dad himself, if he can stay strong and have confidence that he will make it through, the higher chance that we will recover faster and we as the family members, relatives and friends pray hard and give my dad confidence and support.

It’s already a week now my dad stayed in the hospital, I can see my dad changed from worse to better. Though my dad is still using the ventilator to breath, I can see that my dad is trying to pull the tube from his mouth and see if he could breath on his own without any supports. But ofcourse it’s all depends on the doctor.

The nurses and the doctors there were nice and friendly. Though the hospital is old, the facilities there for visitors were bad, the cafeteria’s food were suck, the cost of my dad’s medications and treatments will surely be unbelievable, but most importantly is the service they gave my dad.

A short story of what happen to my dad starting from the first day. After coming back home from our buffet steamboat dinner, my dad were still fine because my dad stepped my dog’s leg and he said sorry and still can be able joke a little with my mom. Then when my dad took his shoe and and put it into the storeroom, my dad said he’s fainting. Luckily my mom was beside him because my mom too wanted to put her shoe inside the storeroom.

My mom then hugged my dad so that my dad would not fall down or knock his head on the wall and my dad were still able to balance himself to avoid falling down or knock on the wall. My mom called me and say that my dad was unconscious while I was closing the door and lock the car.

My mom asked me to go upstairs and take down the medicated oil. I was panicked and blured that I suddenly did not remember where the oil was located. My mom who told me where was it and then my mom asked me to call my neighbour for help after bringing down the oil. My dad’s condition started getting worse. My dad’s eyes were closed and mumbling when we asked how was he.

We were afraid at first that the ambulance would not come on time so we decided to call our neighbour for help. Both my neighbour and I carried my dad to his Toyota Avanza and drove to Assunta Hospital. That hospital came to my mind first and next was University Hospital. At that time we were so panicked we have no other choice so we went to Assunta Hospital.

In the car my dad were sweating and vomiting. Luckily in the car there were some plastic bags or else (I do not dare to think what my neighbour’s face will look like). Vomited quite alot but was still able to wipe his sweat on his own. Still able to answer but not really clear.

Arrived to the hospital about 10 minutes or more, I called the guard to call the doctor to come. Quickly they brought my dad inside the ward. They took off my dad’s watch, spectacles, bracelet wallet and shirt and passed them to us, leaving behind his pants, underwear and belt. Did some scans there at Assunta before putting my dad inside ICU. They confirmed it was a bad stroke.

Suddenly they said that they were out of ICU rooms, all were fully occupied. My dad were on medication and oxygen mask were put on. One of the doctor tried calling all the hospital nearby, but had no luck. All private and government hospital were out of ICU rooms. It’s just shocking when I heard that. Tried almost half an hour, got a room at General Hospital in KL. But the thing is, they said they will need to clean up the room before my dad can go inside the room, and they will have to leave my dad somewhere else first. In the morning only they will put my dad into ICU room.

I thought that was the last option and no other option to choose. Later a nurse mentioned Tawakal Hospital was not called yet. Then the doctor try calling Tawakal Hospital to see if there were any ICU rooms available. In the end, it was a relief, Tawakal Hospital has a bed for my dad. It was a last resort, called more than 20 hospitals in half an hour time. I don’t know what happen to all the hospitals, so many people ill or sick or had a bad health condition? What a day.

Then they called ambulance to bring my dad to Tawakal Hospital along with my mom followed together. My neighbour fetched me back home and I drove my own car to the hospital. I was speeding all the way constant 100kmph to 120kmph and sometimes reaches 130-140kmph. It was late at night so not many cars were on the road at that time.

Reached there around 15 minutes or more and later my neighbour came along too. When I arrived there, my mom was dealing with the payment. All payment were paid by my neighbour first. Then they quickly send my dad to the ICU room. Conditions continue from all the Twitter messages.

Luckily my dad were covered with 2 insurances. 1 was company’s insurance call Lonpac and 1 was his personal insurance call Prudential but Tawakal Hospital only accept 1 insurance policy. So we decided to choose Prudential because it covers more than Lonpac.

I do read comments everyday but I just do not have to mood to reply, I’m very sorry. Some of you readers are kind and supporting my dad even we have not met each other before and especially Yeevon who stays beside me giving me hopes and love to family. Eventhough she could not be with me always, but the messages she sent to me and supports she gave me, I know she is there for me, and supporting my dad. And also my friend Darren who came to see my dad. I’m really happy that you’re able to come even you are busy. Thanks to all my friends who support my dad in different ways, my relatives who came and visit my dad from KL or Seremban or anywhere, my dad’s colleagues who came quite several of times and my dad’s old friends who came visiting my dad.

Sorry, I missed out some of my friends name. Jun and Canice came too and brought along with fruits for my dad and also fetched Yeevon to visit my dad too. Thank you very much. I’m very sorry.

I’m really tired now. Will get some rest and then going to visit my dad in the afternoon and coming back at night till the visitting hour stop. Don’t worry, I’m driving safely now. That’s all for now, peace out.

Please support me by supporting my sponsors. Though it may not be much but at least it’s better than nothing. Thank you for those who had done so. May God bless you.
