My dad were breathing on his own totally without any supports (except for the tube ofcourse). After a while, my dad were coughing badly due to the phlegms. Now they will have to put the BIPAP (Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure) machine back. The machine does 2 things, it helps to push the air into the lungs and also helps to hold the lungs open allowing more oxygen to enter the lungs.

The unit where my dad placed were a bit warm. My dad were sweating and very uncomfortable. Even at home my dad normally remove his clothes even he is inside the air conditioning room. Added a standing fan inside the unit far away from my dad as my dad may catch cold. We could see just from my dad’s looks how uncomfortable he was.

My dad’s left eye could open half or more but the other eye were just a line. It’s a big improvement for today. Yesterday was only for temporary moment and it will close after it gets tired but today I can see he opened longer and opened himself without us asking him to open.

Many people admitted to the hospital. I can see new patients everyday. What happen to the health and living system in Malaysia? It’s getting worse day by day. I over heard from 1 of the patient’s relative saying that Tawakal Hospitals were money minded because they will need your deposit first before the patient could enter the hospital. They were furious about the system.

Actually most of the hospitals in Malaysia were like that. That is why Malaysia should change the system to prevent this problem. We should also do our part by living in a healthy lifestyle. Thought I’m still fat but after my dad admitted to hospital, I have changed my eating habits already. Good or bad I do not know because we sometimes skipped our dinner and go for supper after visiting my dad but I ate lesser. We sometimes have to skip our dinner because many relatives, friends and colleagues came to visit my dad and it’s not good to leave them unattended.

Fuel usage increased alot as we travelled up and down. Average of 18 kilometres of journey from home to Tawakal Hospital. 36 to 72 kilometres per day depending on me whether I want to see the doctor in the morning and then come back to fetch my mom to the hospital. RM50 of fuel could last me for the average of 5 days. Please support me by supporting my advertisements from Nuffnang and Google Adsense as it may help a little.

To all the readers, I thank you for all the supports you had given to my dad. I whispered to my dad and say “there are many people supporting you including my friends which I know from the internet”. I guess my dad would be supprised as my dad isn’t really a “technological” person, meaning my dad isn’t updated with technology stuff and try to avoid using it.

Anyway, wish my dad can recover as soon as posible to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. I’ve learned something again today, it’s not important where you celebrate Chinese New Year, family unity is more important. I may not get more Ang Pows this year but what most important now is waiting for my dad to recover. God bless my dad and all of us, peace out.
