My dad’s left arm now able to lift up high now but uses alot of energy. But it is also a good news that he could lift up, better than the last time. Me and my mom always help my dad to carry up his left arm and doing some simple arm exercise so that he will have some muscles and strength to move the arm.

Met the doctor today and she said that my dad can go back home already. Problem now is that the tracheostomy tube will still be there and we will be bring that tube back home. The tracheostomy tube is harder to be taken care than the PEG tube.

Phlegm always building up in the lungs and my dad chokes when there are phlegm. We will have the buy the suction machine to suck out all the phlegm built up inside the lungs from the tracheostomy tube. It’s a suffering process and I bet my mom will cry when he sees my dad is suffering when she sucks out the phlegms. My mom cried once when she saw the nurses doing the suction.

My dad was still unbalance when he’s walking. Maybe it’s because of the eyes which he still can’t control the eyes movement properly as he could only move the eye balls left and right. My mom can’t take care of my dad alone at home.

I really want my dad back home but many things to be considered once my dad is at home. Bed is already a major problem. We are staying at a double-storey house and our bed is upstairs. Rooms located downstairs were occupied and it became a storeroom which there are too many things inside. What we planned is that we are going to put my dad’s bed in the living room.

My dad’s personal insurance (Prudential) coverage now is RM225k but we need to pay 10% of the total bill when my dad discharge. So what we planned now is that we will be using the company’s insurance (Lonpac) RM15k to pay the 10% of the total bill. Why have it increased from RM75k to RM225k? It was due to the insurance agent’s mistakes which she read the policy wrongly and my dad bought a different type of insurance.

So now we do not care much about the money, what we care most now is that my dad will be fully recover. I know we have to face the fact that my dad will not be as active as the day he used to be but I still happy that my dad able to survive this “test” given by God.

But still I’ll have to thank You for helping my dad in his recovery. And also thanks to everyone who supported my dad from the beginning. I really can’t stop thanking you guys for all the supports especially to my relatives and my friends (including my dad’s friends, colleagues and also friends I know through blogging atmosphere). Thank you, may God bless you all and peace out.
