Dinner at Coffee Terrace, Genting Highland

Apr 28, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Celebration, Food & Drink

Before going to the Mayday’s Jump!! 2008 concert, we celebrated Yeevon’s dad’s birthday at Coffee Terrace, Genting Highland. Actually this was our second time we had been there but for her family, it was their first time. The environment were marvelous.

Coffee Terrace, Genting Highland

The first time was on my birthday last year. It was great!! I love that place to much because there are many different style of food there. Western, Japanese, Chinese, any some others. It’s a buffet style here and that’s why you can eat whatever you want!!!

The above photos were taken last year during my birthday. I didn’t take any photos of the food there because there are too many!!

All I can say, the food there were excellent. I chose to eat Western and Japanese style cuisine when I was there. If you are at Genting Highland and you are super hungry, try this place. Eat as many as you can. It’s a bit pricey though. You can check their price and promotions on their website.

Sorry for the very very late post :( . I don’t know why my internet connection still have not fixed yet even they have already fixed it. Still very slow.

Actually we were not allowed to bring camera inside so most of the pictures were secretly shot. We stood quite far though but thanks to Yeevon’s camera which has 18x optical zoom!! Not hers though, it’s her uncle’s camera :P .

It’s quite hard to take photos there because the security was very tight for the first few hours. Then the last hour, security gave up and I get to take better photos. The first few photos were really unclear.

The Mayday Fans in Genting Highland

I’M GOING SOON !!

Lunch Time at Sakae Sushi and Baskin Robbins

Apr 18, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Food & Drink, Outing

I had lunch with Yeevon yesterday at The Curve. She said she wanted to eat sushi so we thought of going Genki Sushi. But at that time, it was closed. Not sure why. Closing shop soon? :???:

After walking a while, we decided to try Sakae Sushi. This was my first time eating at this sushi restaurant. Looks like I have many first times like my previous dinner I had at Cineleisure.

Sakae Sushi at The Street, The Curve

The food here is not really expensive actually. It looks like it, but it’s not. Prices are almost the same with Genki Sushi or Sushi King.

Lines of Sushi at Sakae Sushi

There were so many people there on that day. I guess their business is good everyday. They have only 3 prices for each colour plates. Not like Genki Sushi or Sushi King, there are so many colour plates.

But 1 thing I dislike about their “Inari” is that they will not give you 2 same “Inari“. What I mean is, for example if you ordered a “Ebiko Inari“, they will give you 1 “Ebiko Inari” and 1 plain “Inari“. If still don’t understand, sorry. Hard to explain.

Warm Sake at Sakae Sushi

And before we eat sushi, we ordered a Warm “Sake“. Not bad at all :P . It’s like a hot red wine. I’m really satisfied with their service and also their sushi. You should try it too if you are a sushi lover :) .

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Cappuccino Espresso Concerto at Baskin Robbins, The Curve

After our lunch, we had our dessert at Baskin Robbins. I can’t really remember what we mixed. I think it was Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Cappuccino Espresso Concerto.

That’s all for now, happy dining and peace out.

Dinner at Tony Roma’s

Apr 15, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Food & Drink

It was my first time trying Tony Roma’s last Saturday. I always wanted to try with my parents last time, but not a single chance. So on that day I get to try with Yeevon  .

Tony Roma\'s at Cineleisure

Above was actually the fridge magnets. They were given after billing. I just use them as an introduction. Moving on, we ordered something nice since Yeevon came and tried here before.

Tony Roma\'s Red Hot Buffalo Wings

I personally don’t like spicy food but this Red Hot Buffalo Wings were not very spicy actually. So, it is good for me :P . It tasted real good when it was served with Carolina Honey sauce.

Tony Roma\'s St. Louis Ribs with Grilled Gulf Shrimp Combo

This would be our main course of the day. It is a St. Louis Ribs with Grilled Gulf Shrimp Combo. I love Tony Roma’s chips. They are much better than McDonalds’ fries. The ribs were really juicy and the shrimp were tasty. I’m not good in reviewing but I would really like to recommend this to you readers.

Different Types of BBQ Sauce with a Smile

This was actually an introduction of different types of BBQ sauces by the waiter. They were 4 different taste of flavours. All of them were nice.

Our Dessert

And last but not least, our dessert !!! But I can’t really remember the name. But it’s nice. Compared with TGI Fridays, I would prefer Tony Roma’s because their food is better. but then Tony Roma’s is more expensive than TGI Fridays.

Comparing it with Jack’s Place, which we had our lunch during our anniversary, I would say Tony Roma’s. Yet again, it’s much more expensive.

That’s all I want to share, peace out.
