My Simple Life Diary - How Good Is Your Lifestyle Compared With Mine?
Not exactly what you think. We did not stay there for 500 days, we celebrated 500 days of being together on Tuesday. We just sort of making it a special day just to eat some nice food
. Just kidding.
Anyway, we celebrated at Tony Roma’s, the same place where we had our dinner last time, at Cineleisure. And this time, we had our lunch.
During the lunch time, they had some set lunch menu and each set also comes together with a Soup of the Day and a glass of soft drink.
Can’t really remember the soup’s name. I think it was onion with beef soup if I’m not mistaken. It comes together with some crackers. The soup taste good especially when you dipped the crackers.
We preferred the ribeye to be cooked medium rare as it will be juicier than it was cooked well done. Also, comes together with salads and fries. i just love their fries. The portion of the ribeye was big enough for both of us and since I’m controlling my diet, it’s just perfect. For those who really eat big, 1 set wont be enough
.
Actually, I’m not really sure if the name was correct. It has strawberry, cheese and martini on it. It really taste good, if you love drinking liquor.
Why did I choose to eat at this place? It was because the last time we had our dinner there, the receipt has a note asking us to do the survey online. And once you have answers everything, you will be given a survey validation code and you have to write them on the receipt.
Once you have done the survey, RM10 off for a minimum of RM30 spent on your next visit to Tony Roma’s. And now, I have another survey to do. I’ll do it later maybe. This time, the waiter who served us, did not do a good job as the one who served us the last time.
But anyway, Tony Roma’s is a good place to eat. Kinda pricey but their food were just delicious. Try them out. There are going to open alot of outlets soon I guess, so check them out. That’s all for now, peace out.
It’s been a long time I’ve not been talking about my dad (which means he’s doing great in his recovery). He has been sleeping upstairs for few weeks already. With some support from me and mom, he’s able to walk up the stairs and the reward for him is an air-cond room. Alot of my relatives were shocked and happy when they heard my dad can walk up the stairs.
It was so hot these few days and until today since few days back, our house got no water. That is like a worse nightmare. We have been sweating alot even my living room now have 5 fans switched on. The weather sucks.
We celebrated Mother’s Day last Saturday. And since we can’t go out and my dad can’t bring us to have a great dinner, I ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut together with my cousin sister celebrating as well. I bought the pizzas using the money I just earn from Google Adsense. I guess I’m going to receive my second Nuffnang cheque soon too.
I told my dad that it was Mother’s Day that day and then when my mom came near my dad, my dad said “Happy Mother’s Day” which were not really clear. But that was enough to make us all cry. With that, I know my dad will be getting better soon since he’s able to walk up the stairs and talk.
That’s it for now. I’ve been lazy these few days for not posting new articles because I hardly going out and taking photos. But don’t worry, I will as soon as I have new stuff to post about. Thank you readers for all the support you have given from the start. Peace out.
We had a wonderful night there. We exchanged present earlier and then headed straight to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant at The Curve and have a try. It’s a new restaurant opened just a few weeks ago located on the 1st floor. On that day there were many people having dinner.
They asked us to wait for 20 minutes and I could see there were quite a number of people on the waiting list. We sat on the bench below the Bubba Gump’s logo waiting and a friendly waiter came talk to us and quickly clear up the table in front of us. We skipped a few people on the waiting list. We were lucky.
ANYWAY, let me introduce what we had on our anniversary.
First, our cocktails were nice. Medal Margarita has a little taste of lime with 2 spirits combined. It’s really nice but not really strong. Mama’s Blue Hawaiian was strong. It has 5 spirits combined with pineapple and lemon-lime juice. Maybe you can order for your mom a Mama’s Blue Hawaiian on Mother’s Day
(if your mom is ok with it).
This Cajun Shrimp, our appetizer was delicious and fresh. It has garlic bread and the shrimps were a little hot and spicy (not really spicy though).
For our main course, it will be our Shrimper’s Heaven. Mixed with varieties of shrimps such as Coconut Shrimp, Chilly Shrimp, Fried Shrimp and Tempura Shrimp together with fries and sauces.
I really love this place a lot. One reason is I felt very happy on that day. Second reason was their service. Third was that the waiter and waitress were really friendly especially the one who served us. I really want to thank the waitress who recommended us these delicious food and drinks.
For those who love eating shrimps, you have to try this place. Even if you’re not shrimp lover, there are many other choices also like steaks and some others.
For the who love to eat curry puffs, better not miss out HOMI’s Chicken Curry Puffs. I love eating curry puffs which are not spicy or with eggs inside it. More pictures and reviews below after this.
His stall is located at Sun Hin Loong kopitiam, SS2. It is opposite of the SS2 KFC outlet and you will need to cross the road though. I think he’s frying curry puffs non stop because everytime I buy them, they are really fresh and still very hot.
At that time, i was waiting for my mom to buy the curry puffs so, I took this inside my car
. That guy must be thinking there’s some paparazzi stalking him.
You get this big box only if you order more than 5 I guess. Look at it, it’s BIG !!! It’s not those ordinary small curry puffs which sells 50 cents or 40 cents, these are double (some triple) the size of those small ones. They cost RM1.20 or RM1.30, I don’t know the price now cause I didn’t eat for a long time already.
See how crispy it is? Yes, it is crispy
. There are many stalls selling big curry puffs but still, I prefer HOMI’s Curry Puffs. I’ve tried some other big curry puffs, they were not crispy and they were not really fresh. And they sell at a high price of RM1.50 to RM2.00 each.
Come to SS2 and try it for yourself. Even KY has tried it, why not you. That’s all for now, peace out.
