My Simple Life Diary - How Good Is Your Lifestyle Compared With Mine?
On the 7th of October, it was my dad’s birthday. On the same day, it was me and Yeevon’s 21st month anniversary
. My dad’s colleague (he’s like my dad’s God-son) bought my dad a cake to celebrate together. For those who had not seen my dad before, below is a picture taken during last year’s Melaka Trip.
And below is a picture taken on his 70th birthday.
For those who had been following on my dad’s condition articles, this is how my dad looks like now. We (my mom, me and my dad’s colleague) sang the birthday song together and my dad was very happy.
My dad able to eat some cakes but it takes time. It was a tiramisu cake from Bee’s Bakery. Too bad I did not take any photos of my dad’s colleague
. Maybe next time. He’s really a nice guy who came almost every Sunday to visit my dad.
After that, me and Yeevon went to The Curve to celebrate our anniversary. The first place we went to Cineleisure to take some Puri-Kura (sticker photos). Here are some of the photos.
That was our Forever Friends’ bear. Bought it quite some time ago.
After that, we have our dinner at Bubba Gump. We went there on our 16th month anniversary last time also. Not many people at that time because it was weekdays.
We shared a Cajun Shrimp, Scampi and also Clam Chowder Soup. For those who love shrimp, you will defenately love this place alot. They were just delicious, try it yourself.
I will just make this short and simple. Hope you will enjoy reading this article. That’s all for now, peace out.
I always felt like my internet connection was really slow which makes me load my blog really slow. I think it was the host or something. Anyway, I enjoyed (as always) my this month’s anniversary and it was our 1 and 1/2 year anniversary. We celebrated in the afternoon at KLCC.
We exchanged our present inside her room. She bought me a QuickSilver wallet and I bought her Forever Friends pillow, fridge magnets, a greeting card and handphone accessories (she loves Forever Friends).
We then headed straight to KLCC’s Chinoz at the Park restaurant.
This sushi has got no black spiders inside, so don’t worry. You’re not on Fear Factor show. It’s actually a soft crab.
We asked them to recommend us some main course as it was our first time there. They introduced us this medium rare Black Pepper Rump Steak. It looks small from the picture. It was all “enlarged”. The steak itself is thick and juicy and the fries were big as well.
This place is really nice. Too bad I did not take any picture of the environment. We then headed to Haagen-Dazs for our dessert.
I can’t really remember the name of it. But it’s hot and cold
. Really nice. And we have to thank Google for sponsoring us the food
.
That’s all for this article. Enjoy reading. Peace out.
I wasn’t in the mood writing maybe due to Euro 2008 football season or maybe I am just L-A-Z-Y
. Anyway, last week we celebrated our 17th month anniversary at The Apartment, The Curve. Before that, we both exchanged our present in the car. This is actually a short celebration so, less pictures and less words
.
It’s our D.I.Y. cards made for this special day. That was our idea and both of us try to make a card for each other. I guess it was special and of course the more complicated and nice it is, the more she/he loves you.
We had ourself a bottle of Jackaroo red wine. Can’t really remember the detail about this red wine, but it surely taste good. It was introduced by the waiter and it was not as expensive as others which were more than RM100++.
Last but not least, our dessert. This baked chocolate pudding served in hot and cold. The pudding was hot served with ice cream by the side. Eating both together, it was just tasty, very creamy and “chocolatie”
.
And that’s how we celebrated our this month’s anniversary. A short one but a nice one as well. One day I will go out with her to watch a match with her since she loves watching football. Anyway, that’s all for now, peace out.
We had a wonderful night there. We exchanged present earlier and then headed straight to the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Restaurant at The Curve and have a try. It’s a new restaurant opened just a few weeks ago located on the 1st floor. On that day there were many people having dinner.
They asked us to wait for 20 minutes and I could see there were quite a number of people on the waiting list. We sat on the bench below the Bubba Gump’s logo waiting and a friendly waiter came talk to us and quickly clear up the table in front of us. We skipped a few people on the waiting list. We were lucky.
ANYWAY, let me introduce what we had on our anniversary.
First, our cocktails were nice. Medal Margarita has a little taste of lime with 2 spirits combined. It’s really nice but not really strong. Mama’s Blue Hawaiian was strong. It has 5 spirits combined with pineapple and lemon-lime juice. Maybe you can order for your mom a Mama’s Blue Hawaiian on Mother’s Day
(if your mom is ok with it).
This Cajun Shrimp, our appetizer was delicious and fresh. It has garlic bread and the shrimps were a little hot and spicy (not really spicy though).
For our main course, it will be our Shrimper’s Heaven. Mixed with varieties of shrimps such as Coconut Shrimp, Chilly Shrimp, Fried Shrimp and Tempura Shrimp together with fries and sauces.
I really love this place a lot. One reason is I felt very happy on that day. Second reason was their service. Third was that the waiter and waitress were really friendly especially the one who served us. I really want to thank the waitress who recommended us these delicious food and drinks.
For those who love eating shrimps, you have to try this place. Even if you’re not shrimp lover, there are many other choices also like steaks and some others.
Actually it was suppose to be yesterday but due to my inconvenient, I can’t make it. So we had to delay it till today. And of course we will have an enjoyable and lovely day at One Utama shopping center.
Every anniversary, we will surely have a western style cuisine. I guess that is like a tradition. Today, we went to Jack’s Place to have our lunch together. Here are some pictures of what we had.
I usually don’t eat escargots but after going out to eat with her, I’ve learned to accept the taste of escargots. This escargots were just delicious.
I’m not a good wine drinker, but all I know it was smooth. I guess they are using Trivento Tribu since they are promoting it. Trivento Tribu is also our first bottle of wine we opened on our 11th month anniversary.
I eat steaks only if I’m with her. Why? Because my family doesn’t like to eat them and I’ve got no chance to try them until I’ve been together with her. Usually I would prefer it to be well done. But today I got the chance to try a medium rare. It’s so good. It is juicier
.
It was just a normal dessert. A cup of coffee and also a scoop of chocolate ice cream which comes together with the main course.
For me, Jack’s Place is a nice place to have a nice western style cuisine. It’s not really expensive if you compare with TGI Fridays.
That’s all I have to say now. Try Jack’s Place if you have not try it
. Peace out.
