Google AdSense - System Down?

Apr 13, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Breaking News

When I was going to check my earnings on Google AdSense, it suddenly shows a system down page. Not sure what has happened. I guess it will get back up very soon (I hope).

Google AdSense Down?

System down message displayed in many languages.

Below is a message showed on Google AdWords.

The AdWords account interface is temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance. AdWords is expected to be down from approximately 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM PDT [?] on April 12, 2008. Please note that your campaigns will be running normally during this short period of downtime, which only affects your account management pages. We apologise for any inconvenience.

I guess we will have to wait for them to fix it. And hopefully it wont effect our earnings. That’s all for now, peace out.

Edit: It’s back up already :)

Toyota “Habislah”

Jan 9, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Breaking News

After coming back home, I saw my neighbour’s car parked opposite my house, the sidedoor were damaged badly. Not sure what the hell happened and how it happened. It was a Toyota Altis.

Toyota “Habislah” - Damaged Badly

From here I can see that it was most probably a car banged on his door while he opened the door. But wait, I thought the door sidedoor will go more than 90o if really happen?

Sidedoor Damaged Badly

And when I see from this angle, it was most probably the other car was trying to bang the car on purpose? crazy thoughts.

Sidedoor Damaged Badly

What other crazy ideas can you think of? But the strange thing is even the back bumper got scratched too. Really, how can this happen? 2 accidents happen in 1 day? Or maybe banged from the sidedoor and the car moved to the corner and got scratched by the wall/poll/anything?

Back Got Scratched Too

Or maybe………. I just ask my neighbour better  .

Unfriendly Nuffnang

Jan 8, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Breaking News

NuffnangWho has stepped on Nuffnang’s tail? After Nuffnang launched this exclusivity program call The Nuffnang Glitterati, I felt bad for other web advertisement company which were originated from South East Asia like Advertlets and Nufflets. I think Nufflets has closed their network down. Can’t get into their site. Nevermind since I’m not using it anymore.

By concentrating the on the current issue on Advertlets’ problem, this is going to make Advertlets having a hard time getting back its loyal bloggers. Advertlets has been causing problems with their domain and infecting other blogger’s blog which has Advertlets’ advertisements on and now Nuffnang has come up with this program, it will surely kill them hard.

What is this program all about? Not going into details, this program is exclusively for Nuffnangers who has NO other advertisement networks which are from South East Asia. To be a part of this program is easy, just remove other advertisement network from South East Asia if you have any and you can be an exclusive Nuffnanger. Ofcourse, you first need to be a normal Nuffnanger and paste the advertisement code. You will be making more money with this program. Actually, this Glitterati sounds like Technorati  .

Nuffnang Vs. Advertlets

Yeah, this is a killer move. The advantages are all on Nuffnang side unless Advertlets are coming up with better plan. I have received (actually all Advertlets’ member should have it) an e-mail from Josh Lim, the founder of Advertlets, saying that in the upcoming Advertlets 2.0 (currently is 1.80 beta), there will be major changes. Here is a paragraph from the e-mail.

We will be making some personnel changes and new additions to ensure that everything - support, ad loading time, code, and more run smoothly in future. Major upgrades to the system are due in February, in the form of Advertlets 2.0 with new ad formats, referrals, earning graphs, social features, and traffic generation facilities. And of course morecontests, advertising revenue and sponsored post opportunities.

I guess they are still friendly. They did not mention any killer plans  . If Advertlets are not doing anything, they are sure going down and I don’t really want to see this happen. But we have to face the fact that there are wars everywhere even you with your computer sometimes (I mean WarCraft :P ).

Poll: Will You Still Use Advertlets?

Jan 6, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Breaking News

After what Advertlets has done to our page, linking to the Azbaaz website like what I posted previously. The question now is, will you still continue using Advertlets?

- Poll Removed -

Advertlets’ New Page

It’s just a simple question. And if the Advertlets Support team ever see this article, I hope they will take action of how to improve their service advertisements.

What I heard most is that Advertlets is not giving the paycheck on time? Your site loads slower after adding the code? Some functions like the poll on Advertlets’ ads are not working? What else? I guess there are many other complains out there.

I’m not doing this because I hate Advertlets. I just want them to improve their service. Just vote will do. Leave a comment if you have other oppinions.

Advertlets Did Not Pay Bill?

Jan 5, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Breaking News

Just a while ago, all the sites with Advertlets advertisements will all be linked to this page. This will cause many sites to lose revenues. Not sure if they did not pay bills or what. Maybe it’s technical error.

Advertlets No Pay Bill

Best solution for now is to temporary remove Advertlets advertisement code. If you don’t mind losing revenues, temporary change your templates with no Advertlets advertisements in it so you still can have your loyal readers back. This is only for temporary moment only. After Advertlets’ crew has fix the problem, it will all back to normal.
