On the 7th of October, it was my dad’s birthday. On the same day, it was me and Yeevon’s 21st month anniversary :D . My dad’s colleague (he’s like my dad’s God-son) bought my dad a cake to celebrate together. For those who had not seen my dad before, below is a picture taken during last year’s Melaka Trip.

For those who had been following on my dad’s condition articles, this is how my dad looks like now. We (my mom, me and my dad’s colleague) sang the birthday song together and my dad was very happy.

My dad able to eat some cakes but it takes time. It was a tiramisu cake from Bee’s Bakery. Too bad I did not take any photos of my dad’s colleague :P . Maybe next time. He’s really a nice guy who came almost every Sunday to visit my dad.

After that, me and Yeevon went to The Curve to celebrate our anniversary. The first place we went to Cineleisure to take some Puri-Kura (sticker photos). Here are some of the photos.

Last Thursday I’ve celebrated my very early birthday at Poolbar and Grill at One World Hotel together with Yeevon, Canice and Jun. We had some wonderful time there and only 4 of us were the diners there.

This place was awesome. We ate by the pool side and all the food were just for us to eat. We really do enjoy because we don’t need to stand in a Q or wait for the food. The food were there for us  .

Foooooooood !!! BBQ and Cooked Food

Oh and most importantly, we get to enjoy FREE FLOW BEER !!! Some of us were really drunk that time but it was a happy day. Our emotions were just like the picture below. The Drunk Canice, Jun, Yeevon and Kelvin

I told Yeevon that she doesn’t need to buy me a cake. She then bought me 3 slices of cake from the hotel.

It was windy that night and it was hard to light up the candle. But I do manage to blow the candle  . I would really like to make 3 wishes if I could. Am I greedy? :P .

500 Days at Tony Roma’s

May 23, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Celebration, Food & Drink

Not exactly what you think. We did not stay there for 500 days, we celebrated 500 days of being together on Tuesday. We just sort of making it a special day just to eat some nice food :P . Just kidding.

Anyway, we celebrated at Tony Roma’s, the same place where we had our dinner last time, at Cineleisure. And this time, we had our lunch.

During the lunch time, they had some set lunch menu and each set also comes together with a Soup of the Day and a glass of soft drink.

Soup of the Day - Onion and Beef Soup

Can’t really remember the soup’s name. I think it was onion with beef soup if I’m not mistaken. It comes together with some crackers. The soup taste good especially when you dipped the crackers.

Tony Roma\'s Medium Rare Ribeye

We preferred the ribeye to be cooked medium rare as it will be juicier than it was cooked well done. Also, comes together with salads and fries. i just love their fries. The portion of the ribeye was big enough for both of us and since I’m controlling my diet, it’s just perfect. For those who really eat big, 1 set wont be enough :P .

Tony Roma\'s Strawberry Cheese Martini

Actually, I’m not really sure if the name was correct. It has strawberry, cheese and martini on it. It really taste good, if you love drinking liquor.

Why did I choose to eat at this place? It was because the last time we had our dinner there, the receipt has a note asking us to do the survey online. And once you have answers everything, you will be given a survey validation code and you have to write them on the receipt.

Once you have done the survey, RM10 off for a minimum of RM30 spent on your next visit to Tony Roma’s. And now, I have another survey to do. I’ll do it later maybe. This time, the waiter who served us, did not do a good job as the one who served us the last time.

But anyway, Tony Roma’s is a good place to eat. Kinda pricey but their food were just delicious. Try them out. There are going to open alot of outlets soon I guess, so check them out. That’s all for now, peace out.

My Dad’s Current Condition 28

May 13, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Celebration, Dad's Condition

It’s been a long time I’ve not been talking about my dad (which means he’s doing great in his recovery). He has been sleeping upstairs for few weeks already. With some support from me and mom, he’s able to walk up the stairs and the reward for him is an air-cond room. Alot of my relatives were shocked and happy when they heard my dad can walk up the stairs.

It was so hot these few days and until today since few days back, our house got no water. That is like a worse nightmare. We have been sweating alot even my living room now have 5 fans switched on. The weather sucks.

We celebrated Mother’s Day last Saturday. And since we can’t go out and my dad can’t bring us to have a great dinner, I ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut together with my cousin sister celebrating as well. I bought the pizzas using the money I just earn from Google Adsense. I guess I’m going to receive my second Nuffnang cheque soon too.

I told my dad that it was Mother’s Day that day and then when my mom came near my dad, my dad said “Happy Mother’s Day” which were not really clear. But that was enough to make us all cry. With that, I know my dad will be getting better soon since he’s able to walk up the stairs and talk.

That’s it for now. I’ve been lazy these few days for not posting new articles because I hardly going out and taking photos. But don’t worry, I will as soon as I have new stuff to post about. Thank you readers for all the support you have given from the start. Peace out.
