Lunch Time at Sakae Sushi and Baskin Robbins

Apr 18, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Food & Drink, Outing

I had lunch with Yeevon yesterday at The Curve. She said she wanted to eat sushi so we thought of going Genki Sushi. But at that time, it was closed. Not sure why. Closing shop soon? :???:

After walking a while, we decided to try Sakae Sushi. This was my first time eating at this sushi restaurant. Looks like I have many first times like my previous dinner I had at Cineleisure.

Sakae Sushi at The Street, The Curve

The food here is not really expensive actually. It looks like it, but it’s not. Prices are almost the same with Genki Sushi or Sushi King.

Lines of Sushi at Sakae Sushi

There were so many people there on that day. I guess their business is good everyday. They have only 3 prices for each colour plates. Not like Genki Sushi or Sushi King, there are so many colour plates.

But 1 thing I dislike about their “Inari” is that they will not give you 2 same “Inari“. What I mean is, for example if you ordered a “Ebiko Inari“, they will give you 1 “Ebiko Inari” and 1 plain “Inari“. If still don’t understand, sorry. Hard to explain.

Warm Sake at Sakae Sushi

And before we eat sushi, we ordered a Warm “Sake“. Not bad at all :P . It’s like a hot red wine. I’m really satisfied with their service and also their sushi. You should try it too if you are a sushi lover :) .

After our lunch, we had our dessert at Baskin Robbins. I can’t really remember what we mixed. I think it was Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough with Cappuccino Espresso Concerto.

That’s all for now, happy dining and peace out.

RM35/Hour Hotel

Apr 6, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Outing, Review

Recently me and Yeevon saw a shop lot hotel name Hotel Smart at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara. What so interesting about this hotel is that they added a banner which says “Hour Use RM35″ which means RM35 per hour for renting a room.

Hotel Smart at Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

How smart can it be?

Hotel Smart - Hour Use RM35

Too smart.

For 2 hours you can rent a room at a budget hotel for a day and some may provide breakfast. For this one? Is it way too much?

Seriously, I can’t think of anything else we can do with an hour other than opening a room to have sex? Sorry but this is the only idea I could think of. I’m way too dirty minded :P . Another thing we can do in an hour is to have a quick bath and prepare for a meeting or an appointment.

If you calculate for a day (24 hours), it will be RM840 (RM35 x 24 hours) and with that price, you can rent 2 Family Suites room at Royale Bintang Damansara which is nearby.

Will go there and have a “look” when I’m free  . Peace out.

A Night At TGI Fridays

Last Saturday, I went out with Yeevon at night to have some drink over at The Curve. It has a “beautiful” night life there and we both love the place very much.

Since the bar name Laundry Bar was packed with people and no seats, we decided to go over TGI Fridays since there were not many.

I would personally prefer TGI Fridays over Laundry Bar because Laundry Bar’s environment were noisier than TGI Fridays but at Laundry Bar, you can feel the “heat”.

I know a friend name Benji. He came from Philippine and he is a bartender there. When I see him, I will ask him for special cocktails or shooters that it isn’t inside the menu.

Special Cocktails made by Benji, the Bartender at TGI Fridays

I can’t really remember this cocktail’s name. I think it was Boston Tea something. Both looks similar, but different types of liquor I guess.

When they are going to close the bar (it’s really late already), Benji gave us another cocktail and this time, I’m not really sure what cocktail is this.

Next time I will take a picture of him :P . He’s a nice guy.

Me and Yeevon had a good and lucky night. That time I was only wearing quite casual. 3/4 pants, white shirt, slipper and an un-comb hair :( .

Ok, I know the April Fool jokes were sucks  . That’s all for now, peace out.

Yeevon’s Birthday Celebration (Part 3)

Jan 15, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Celebration, Food & Drink, Outing

Continue from part 2,  at first we thought of walking to the SkyBar at Traders Hotel. But it’s quite far so then we decided to drive there with my car. The most embarrassing thing is, I’ve forgotten where I parked my car  . Actually it’s not that I’ve forgotten where I parked my car but we went down with a different lift (some lift are 1 way lift).

After 10 minutes of searching, 10 minutes to drive over to the Traders Hotel and 3 minutes of taking the lift up to floor 33, we have finally reached SkyBar.

SkyBar at Traders Hotel

Jun and Canice had not been to the SkyBar before and this place had a beautiful scenery of Kuala Lumpur, this place was just perfect. Took a shot of the KLCC tower.

KLCC View From SkyBar

This picture looks like Leaning Tower of Pisa. I guess I should call it Leaning Tower of KLCC :P . We sat near the corner which was the most popular, on demand place to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. I’ve been out of topic :P . Anyway, this is a picture 4 of us before drinking. We asked the waitress who brought us our cocktails to take photo of us.

4 Of Us At SkyBar

We ordered our self a glass of cocktail. The picture turns out blurry. Maybe I was drunk a little when drinking Vodka Espresso in the afternoon. My camera’s anti-shake sucks. Nikon rulez !!!

Our Cocktails

The snacks and beverages there were expensive compared with other bars but the environment and the scenery there were just marvelous. It’s actually a pool in the morning and afternoon. And now the present from Jun and Canice.

Yeevon Opening Presents

Opening, opening, opening… *Poof* :P .

Hand Made Birthday Card

This card was hand-made by Jun and Canice. Looks beautiful and creative  .

A Photo Of Us

Me and Yeevon can’t really remember when we took this picture. All we know it’s at our “mini bar” behind Cineleisure. Another present was a soft lollipop toy (didn’t take the picture  ).

Yeevon Opening Present

Picture of here opening the second present. *drumroll*

Nike Cap From Jun and Canice

A Nike cap from Jun and Canice. Actually Yeevon wanted to buy a cap for herself while shopping at Pavilion. It’s just so coincident  .

This picture is just cute :P .

Yeevon Packing Present Herself

I’m Helping Her Pack

Too many wrappings on the table. Decided to clean it up first to enjoy our cocktails. After that since it’s not enough for the girls, they ordered 2 more drinks.

Another 2 Glasses For Yeevon and Canice

We’re not allow to drink :( because we need to drive. But ofcourse I took only a sip (not really :P ). And this was us after drinking our cocktails.

All Squeeze Into 1

Well, actually their face were ok, but not me :( . Actually I was still ok.

The 2 Of Us

The KL Tower View From SkyBar

Not really a perfect birthday celebration, but we really enjoy that day. Thought I almost can’t find my car, the cake did not “came out” accordingly to plan and due to the bad traffic jam, this was our first time having the same experience together.

From the coffee, to the spa we did together, to the dinner we enjoy together, to the cake we cut together and to the end of the day we’ve been together, I will always remember. That’s all for now, peace out.

Yeevon’s Birthday Celebration (Part 1)

Jan 14, 2008 Author: Vortrack | Filed under: Celebration, Food & Drink, Fun Stuff, Outing

This is a very late entry. Been out the whole day yesterday. Will talk about that in later article :P .

Started our journey from Yeevon’s house and headed straight to Pavilion. We will be meeting out friends later on dinner. So just the 2 of us, we went to have our tea-time.

Our Tea-Time @ Espressamente Illy Coffee House

We went to this place call Espressamente Illy located right opposite Esprit shop in Pavilion. This coffee house located at a very nice place. They have many different types of coffee. They even have alcoholic coffees.

The Espressamente Menu

So we thought of trying the one which was not on the menu, which called Vodka Espresso. Yeevon told me she knew this drink from newspaper or somewhere. This was my first place I went with the birthday girl.

The Birthday Girl

Vodka Espresso and Mugaccino

The coffees were just perfect. They were better than Starbucks or Coffee Bean but of course it’s more expensive. I really like the Vodka Espresso. You can really taste vodka and espresso together. The Mugaccino were really smooth. Yeevon love cappuccino so much, she said this was the best.

Kenko Reflexology and Fish Spa

After our coffee, we walked around and suddenly discovered this place call Kenko Reflexology and Fish Spa located somewhere near the GSC Cinema and Red Box Plus. It cost RM38 for 30 minutes. So we thought of trying it.

Our Leg Feeding The Fish

The called them Doctor Fish. These fish will eat your dead skin cells. As from the picture, you can see those Doctor Fishes came look for me more than her. Which means, I got more dead skin cells :( . We’re sitting on the “attractive” place where everyone can see my leg  . So many people took a picture of my leg !!! Because all the “doctors” are on my leg !!!

Her Leg Feeding Doctor Fish

My Leg Feeding Doctor Fish

See the difference? Many people are actually looking at my side. Even the one beside me doesn’t have so many “doctors” around his leg. At first it was ticklish until Yeevon laugh till stomach ache :P . After a while when you get used to it, you will feel like something moving below your feet. I guess for me, 30 minutes wasn’t enough. And I think I can make those fish fat :P .
